Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Method

Instructions
  1. Freeze your watermelon cubes for at least 4 hours or overnight. This is the key to achieving that perfect sorbet texture without any churning.
  2. Place the frozen watermelon cubes in your blender or food processor. Add the honey, lime juice, and pinch of salt.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This should take about 2-3 minutes depending on your blender's power.
  4. Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 30 minutes for a firmer texture.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy your refreshing homemade sorbet!

Notes

Use ripe, sweet watermelon for natural sweetness. Can be stored in freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving if frozen solid. Add vanilla extract or fresh basil for extra flavor.
